Risk Assessment

Description of process

Risk assessment is the process of evaluating the potential harm the health and safety of personnel due to hazards within the workplace. A risk assessment is performed for a defined location in the workplace. The process consists of the following sub-processes:

Risk Assessment Planning

During the planning, you can register all details of the place and various hazards that exist in that specified location. Several risk assessments can be created according to a planned schedule. Also, you can create templates of risk assessment for locations of similar type which facilitates planning for those places.

Risk Assessment Execution

At this stage you can assess hazards affecting personnel within the specified location. Also, you can separately evaluate the risk potential for each hazard. Recommendations regarding hazard handling as well as control measures for incident prevention can be registered during the execution. After the selected location is properly evaluated, work permits for which the risk assessment was done are possible to be issued so the personnel can be allowed to work at the location. Work permits are defined in the Permit window.
