Decide Potential Harm from Hazard

Explanation

This activity is used to register the potential harm that can be caused to personnel because of a potential hazard.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, personnel groups are required to be already defined in the Risk Assessment Basic Data/Personnel Groups window.

Procedure

1. Open the Risk Assessment window.
2. Search or populate to find the required risk assessment.
3. In the Hazard navigator, select a hazard ID. The Potential Harm tab will be enabled.
4. Create a new record in the table.
5. In the Personnel Group field, enter a group name to identify the type of personnel who could be harmed. Select a value using the list.
6. In the How People May be Harmed field, describe the potential harm that can be caused to the personnel.
7. Save the information.
