Explanation

This activity is used to ensure that the incident details reported in the incident case are verified and acknowledged by a competent authority in order to proceed with the investigation of the reported incident.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, the incident case is required to have Confirmed status.

Procedure

1. Open the Incident window.
2. Search or populate find the required incident case.
3. Go to the header of window, right-click and click Acknowledge. Note that the person ID of the person performing this action will automatically show in the Acknowledged/Rejected By field.
