Cancel Transaction

Explanation

This activity is used to cancel transactions relating to connections in a consolidation structure.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, the status of the consolidation structure should be In Progress. 

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the consolidation transaction is canceled and the Canceled check box is selected in the Consolidation Structure window for the canceled transaction.

Procedure

To cancel a transaction from the consolidation structure:

1. Open the Consolidation Structure window and search for the consolidation structure with the transaction you want to cancel.
2. In the graphical presentation of the consolidation structure, select the node with the transaction to be canceled. All the connections of the node will be displayed in the Structure Connections Details table.
3. In the Structure Connection Details table, select the connection with the transaction to be canceled. All the transactions relating to that connection will be displayed in the History Details per Connection table.
4. Right-click on the relevant transaction and click Cancel Transaction.

To cancel a transaction from the History tab:

1. Open the Consolidation Structure window and search for the consolidation structure with the transaction you want to cancel.
2. Click on the History tab. In the top table, select the period to which the transaction belongs in order to view the transaction in the bottom table. (Note: The period for which the transaction is displayed also depends on the status of the Accumulate History Transactions to the Period check box.)
3. Right-click on the transaction that should be canceled and click Cancel Transaction.
