Enter Project Accounting Pre-posting Information

Explanation

Use this activity to enter pre-posting information for a project.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, the following must have been completed.

• The code parts must have been entered. This is done in the Define Code String window in IFS/Accounting Rules.
• The posting control information must have been entered in the Posting Control window in IFS/Accounting Rules.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the pre-posting information can be used when transactions are created by the system.

Procedure

1. Open the Preposting tab in the Project window.
2. The default value is displayed for the code part that is used for projects. Enter information for other code parts if necessary and save the entries.
