Enter Cash Accounts per Customer

Explanation

This activity is used to define the valid Cash Accounts per Company and Customer, and in combination with the Currency.

When a new record is created in the Cash Accounts per Customer window, the Customer Id and Currency fields are defaulted with '%'. The cash account connected to this line will be the valid cash account for the company and for all currencies. If you select the Default check box, this will be the default cash account for the company irrespective of the currency.

Procedure

  1. Open the Cash Accounts window and populate. Select a line, right-click and then select the Cash Accounts per Customer option.
  2. Create a new record in the Cash Accounts per Customer window.
  3. '%' appears in both Customer Id and Currency fields by default.
  4. Enter the customer ID and the currency in the respective fields. 
  5. Enter the cash account to be used for the relevant customer ID and currency. The values in the Description, Account Number and the Text fields for the cash account will appear automatically.
  6. Select the Default check box if you want the cash account entered for the line to be the default cash account for the relevant combination of the customer and currency.
