Create Fixed Asset Object

Explanation

Use this activity to create fixed asset objects in the rotable pool. Fixed asset objects can be created through acquisition or import. Once a fixed asset object is created, individuals can be connected to it.  Acquired objects should be manually activated, while imported objects are automatically activated when posting is carried out.

Procedure

1. On the FA Objects tab, right-click and select Create FA Object.
2. Enter the required details in the Create FA Object dialog box. If the object is imported into the system select the Import check box.
3. Click the Pre Posting tab.
4. Enter the required account details or use the List of Values to select suitable values.
5. Click OK.
