Select Objects

Explanation

Use this activity to select object/objects as a starting point to change net value, acquisition value or to make an additional investment. Rotable pool objects do not have the change acquisition value and add investment functions.

Prerequisites

Before you can change value for an object/objects, the following must have been completed:

• The object/objects must have Active status.
• The object/objects must be fully depreciated up to and including the date for the change. This means that a change can only take place if  the event date is the last date of a period.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a new window is opened and the selected object/objects is ready for change of value.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to select the object to change value for:

1. Open Change Object Value.
2. Use the Query function. Specify the selection of data in the Query dialog box.
3. Confirm when completed. The information is displayed on the screen.
4. You can mark one or several rows and use one of the following operations: Change Net Value, Change Acquisition Value or Add Investment
