Copy Detached Spare Part List

Explanation

Use this activity to copy an existing detached spare part list to a new detached spare part list.

Prerequisites

• The detached spare part list to be copied must have been entered in IFS/Equipment. 
• The part identity for the new spare part list must have been entered in IFS/Part Catalog or IFS/Inventory.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a new detached spare part list is created. The new list is connected to an existing part identity.

Procedure

1. Open the Detached Spare Part Lists or Detached Spare Part List window.
2. Query for the list to be copied (F3).
3. Select the list, right-click and click Copy Spare Part List. The Copy Spare Part List dialog box appears.
4. In the Site field, the user's default site is displayed. Click List to select another site that the user is connected to, if appropriate.
5. In the Spare Part ID field, click List to select the part identity.
6. Click OK.
