Register Matching Profile

Explanation:

Use this function define profiles. A Profile is useful when you need to define a specific requirement  other than those defined for a job. It consists of several section in the same way as the Job specification is defined.

The available functions are:

Function: Description:
General Use this function to make a brief description of the selected profile.
Competencies Use this function to register competency information for profiles. The values in the list boxes are registered in the Strategic HR Base component.
Education Use this function to register education information for profiles. The values in the list boxes are registered in the Strategic HR Base component.
License Use this function to register license information for the profiles. The values in the list box are registered in the Strategic HR Base component.
Work Experience Use this function to register work experience information for the profiles. The values in the list box are registered in the Strategic HR Base component.
Personal Use this function to register personal information for a specific profile.
Physical Use this function to register physical information for the profiles. The values in the list boxes are registered in the Strategic HR Base component.
Personality Use this function to register personality information for the profiles. The values in the list boxes are registered in the Strategic HR Base component.
Employment Use this function to register employment information for the profiles. The values in the list boxes are registered in the Strategic HR Base component.

Before registering data for a profile, the following basic data must have been defined:

Procedure

Register General Data:

  1. Use the Query function to view one or more profiles. Select New to enter a new profile.
  2. Enter a name and description for the profile.
  3. Enter the time range during which the profiles will be valid. The system automatically suggests the current date as the default Valid From date when you register a new profile identity, and the date 4001-01-01 as the default Valid To date. You can change the dates manually.
  4. Select Save.

Register Personal Data:

  1. Use the Query function to view one or more profiles. Select New to enter a new profile.
  2. Enter a name for the Profile. The profile name automatically appears when you select an already registered Profile ID.
  3. Enter the Minimum and Maximum Age, Gender, and Marital Status. Also indicate whether or not the profile has children.
  4. Select Save.

Register Physical Data, Register Personality Data:

  1. Use the Query function to view one or more profiles. Select New to enter a new profile.
  2. Select a Physical or a Personality Characteristic Name using the list box.
  3. Use the list box to select an operand of the physical or personality characteristic. The comparison operators depend on the characteristic's measurement method.

  4. Enter the value of the physical or personality characteristic. The value depends on the characteristic's measurement method.

    Qualitative Retrieved from the Characteristics window. You cannot enter new qualitative measurement levels here.
    Quantitative Numeric

  5. Enter a unit of measurement for the physical or personality characteristic. This field is filled in only when the characteristic's measurement method is quantitative.
  6. Select Save.

Register Education Data:

  1. Use the Query function to view one or more profiles. Select New to enter a new profile.
  2. Select an Education Criteria Name using the list box.
  3. Use the list box to select a predefined Education Level Name and an Education Field Name.
  4. Select Save.

Register License Data:

  1. Use the Query function to view one or more profiles. Select New to enter a new profile.
  2. Use the list box to select a License Name. The description is automatically displayed.
  3. Select Save.

Register Work Experience Data:

  1. Use the Query function to view one or more profiles. Select New to enter a new profile.
  2. Use the list box to select an Industry Area Name.
  3. Enter the number of years of experience within the specified industry area.
  4. Select Save.

Register Employment Data:

  1. Use the Query function to view one or more profiles. Select New to enter a new profile.
  2. Specify the number of years in service.
  3. Fill in the fields in the group boxes.
  4. Select Save.

Register Competencies Data:

  1. Use the Query function to view one or more profiles. Select New to enter a new profile.
  2. Use the list box to select a predefined value for the Competency Group Name and the Competency Element Name.
  3. The Element Description is automatically displayed.
  4. Select Save.
