Register Employment Period

Explanation

Use this function to register an employee's current and previous employment periods within the current company. Previous employments in companies not handled in the application or outside the HR scope, should be registered as previous work experiences in the Strategic HR components. 

The employment period is defined by a start date, an end date and a degree of occupation percentage. To each period there is a set of data of which the Agreement  information is the most important. Via the agreement the employees working time information is found. Optionally, the function also lets you define personal work time information directly entered to the employee without the need for an agreement.

The employment type can be used in the Employee Analysis window for grouping employees.

The employment periods are used to derive, e.g., the years in service within the company.

When registering an agreement holding work time information, rates, full time amount and the pay period amount are automatically calculated and displayed in the Employee Salary information.

When setting a reason of leaving the system automatically will ask you for an employee status code.
