Establish Functional Specification

Explanation

The process consists of describing the functions in a detailed fashion. The basis of the functions to describe are defined in the process Functional Description.

The functional specification should consist of a document, registered in Document Management, describing the functions in a detailed fashion. The description could consist of:

        - naming the functions
        - a thorough description of what they do
        - define product and model
        - naming the top part revision connected
        - define technical class and attributes
        - creation day and creator

Prerequisites

The functional description is created.

Procedure

1. Open the functional description documents.
2. Create the document(s) containing the functional specification.
3. Register the document in IFS Document Management. (See Create Document Title and Issue for more information.)
