Delete Engineering Part Revision
Explanation
Use this function to delete unwanted engineering part revisions.
Prerequisites
- The part revision must be set to Obsolete.
- The part revision cannot be a part of any structure (use the
Engineering Part Revision/Where Used to see if/where the part revision is used.).
- The part cannot have a document survey. The document survey is Unlocked when the
revision is set to Obsolete. At that point, the survey can be manually deleted. All documents in the survey must be deleted manually before the part revision
can be deleted.
System Effects
- The Part Revision is deleted, along with all it's related information.
- All journal lines are removed when the part revision is deleted.
- The Part Revision's Approval Routing is deleted.

- Select the engineering part revision you want to delete.
- Delete the record.
