Copy Structure/Document Survey/Characteristics

Explanation

Use the Copy Services menu item to copy one part's structure, document survey, and/or characteristics to another part.

Prerequisites

The structure for the part to which you are copying cannot be Active.

System Effects

The source part's structure/document survey/characteristics are copied to the destination part.

Procedure

1. Select the part to which you want to copy (the destination part).
2. Select the Copy Services menu option.
3. In the dialog box that appears, select the part number and revision from which to copy (the source part).

• If the source part has a structure, the structure check box is enabled. Check the box if you want to copy the source part's structure.
• If the source part has a document survey, the document survey check box is enabled. Check the box if you want to copy the source part's document survey.
• If the source part has characteristics, the characteristics check box is enabled. Check the box if you want to copy the source part's characteristics.

4. Click OK.
