Use the Change Status menu option to approve characteristics that have been completed. This function toggles the status between Approved and Not Approved. A part with characteristics cannot be set to designed before the characteristics have been approved. A characteristics snapshot will be made. An approved specification cannot be deleted or updated.
The part must have a characteristics class, and the attributes must have values.
For the selected characteristics, select the option Change Status from the right mouse button menu.
