Each part can have several manufacturers. The manufacturer part connections are listed in the window Part Manufacturers. Changes to the approval status or manufacturer part number are logged in the manufacturer history table and can be viewed in Part/Part Manufacturer.
The manufacturer must be registered in the Enterprise component with Manufacturer as the Party Type Identity value.
Removing a manufacturer part connection automatically removes the connection history. All manufacturers connected to an engineering part must be removed before the engineering part can be removed.
