Copy Project Structure

Explanation

Use the Copy Project Structure menu option to copy the delivery structure from one delivery project to another.

Prerequisites

None.

System Effects

All or part of the structure of another Delivery Project is copied with configuration data (if there are any configurable parts) to the delivery structure of the current project and is connected to the part you selected.

Procedure

1. Select the part to which you want to connect the structure.
2. Select the Copy Project Structure menu option to display the Copy From Project dialog box.
3. In the list, select the Delivery Project from which to copy.
4. In the column window, select the part that contains the structure you want to copy. Note that the part you select here is NOT copied into your project, only the parts in the structure below that part.
5. Click OK and confirm the dialog box that appears with the information on how many parts have been copied into your structure.
