Items described here are only valid if you have to change any system definitions. Things you can do here are change attribute definitions and view object properties.
All tasks described here is to be managed by a system manager or an equivalent person.
For stated attributes, you can define length and number of rows. You can only change values for existing attributes, i.e. you cannot enter any new attributes. When a component is installed a number of base logical units with attributes will automatically be entered. These attributes lengths and number of rows are in this case regulated by restrictions from the installed components. The maximum defined length at any time cannot exceed the value of maximum length column.
When you want to upgrade to a later version of an installed component, the restrictions may have changed. Then you have to manually change the stated values in the columns for length and number of rows. If there are several components installed with same attributes, a minimum value for length and number of rows will be selected for the attribute.
You can only view properties for different objects, i.e. not enter any new objects or change any of the objects properties. Things you can see are the logical unit name, the object key name and object properties. All stated system parameters in the configuration for installed components are viewed.
