Create Schedule Exceptions

Explanation

Use this activity to define schedule exceptions. A schedule exceptions defines the days that break the normal repeated schedule. Note that the Exception Schedule refers to day types, which means that the Exception Schedule can add and subtract available time. This optional activity is to be performed by a system administrator or equivalent person.

Procedure

To perform this activity, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Schedule Exception or Schedule Exceptionswindow.
  2. Create a new record.
  3. Enter a name and description for the schedule exception.
  4. Save the changes.
  5. In the Date field, create a new record and enter the date when you want the day type exception to begin. The Work Week field is populated.
  6. In the Day Type field, select the day type from the List of Values. The Working Time field is populated.
  7. Enter a description.
  8. Save the changes.
