Select Source Company

Explanation

This is the first activity in the Create Company Template process, in which a company template is created as a copy of the basic data in an existing company.

The ID of the template to be created must be entered. Make sure to use an ID that does not already exist. 

The source company can be any existing company.

Prerequisites

A company must be available in the database.

Procedure

1. In the Create Company Template Assistant window, enter the template ID of the new template.
2. Enter a description of the template.
3. Select a source company ID. Click List to see a list of available companies. 
   The company name will be set automatically.
4. Continue with the next activity.
