Enter Persons per Company

Explanation

Use this activity to manually connect persons available in the database you are working on, to a company.

When a person is created, the system automatically connects the person to the company the user is currently logged on to. Additionally, when an employee is created, the system automatically creates a person for the company for which the employee is defined.

Prerequisites

• A person must have been created.
• The user’s access to details of persons will be restricted if the Restrict_Person parameter in the Object Property tab of the System LU Valueswindow is set to TRUE.
• To view the restricted details of protected persons connected to a company, users defined for the same company should also have access to protected persons.

System Effects

Users can view the details of persons that are connected to at least one of the companies (in the Persons per Company window), to which the user has access.

Procedure

1. Open the Enterprise/Person/Persons per Company window.
2. Create a new record.
3. Select a person from the List of Values.
4. Save the record.
