Perform Complete Input Flow

Explanation

Use this activity to perform all steps related to a complete input flow after you have defined an external load header and input parameter values.

The input steps are:

Prerequisites

An external load must be available that is defined with InputFile as File Direction and that is not in state Transferred.

If the status of the external load is not Empty, then the system will prompt you as to whether it is OK to proceed anyway. If OK, then all steps will be executed, even if some of the steps have already been executed during a previous execution.

System Effects

Executing the complete input flow means that an input file is read and unpacked, and that an external interface (API) is called. If the process is successful, then the external interface has taken care of all transactions according to instructions. If the process fails, then the reported errors must be investigated.
