Enter Picking Lead Time

Explanation

Use this activity to change the default picking lead time for the site. Picking lead time is measured in working days. This mandatory task is to be performed by a system administrator or equivalent person.

Prerequisites

This activity has the following prerequisites:

• The site must be created.

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• The defined picking lead time is the default value for all inventory parts entered at this site.

Procedure

1. Open the Site window.
2. Query for the site whose picking lead time you wish to change.
3. On the Extended Site Info/Inventory tab, in the Picking Lead Time field, enter the number of workdays to use for the site's picking lead time default.
4. Save the changes.
