Enter Customer Order Pricing Method

Explanation

Use this activity to enter the default order pricing date for customer orders entered at this site. This mandatory task is to be performed by a system administrator or equivalent person.

Prerequisites

This activity has the following prerequisites:

• The site must be created.
• The customer must be defined.

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• The customer's default pricing method for this site is defined.
• The Update Price Effective Date Automatically check box is updated only when the Delivery Date pricing method is used.

Procedure

1. Open the Site window.
2. Query for the site whose customer order pricing method you wish to define.
3. On the Extended Site Info/Sales and Procurement tab, click either System Date (default), Delivery Date or Order Date in the Pricing Method list.
4. Save the changes.
