Use this function to define the disposition of quotations for a site. Sales quotations affect two aspects of IFS/Planning, namely, Level 1 Master Scheduling, and Material Requirements and Planning (MRP). Quotations are treated as a different type of demand known as planned actual demand in Level 1 Master Scheduling, and they consume the Spare Parts forecasts in MRP. The disposition methods are entered per site and are valid for all sales quotations on the specified site. The possible values include:
After running Level 1 Master Scheduling calculations, the forecasts will be consumed only if the Online Consumption flag is checked for the inventory part, and if the sales quotations are not converted into customer orders.
The spares forecasts in MRP will be consumed only if it is defined as a spare part and the Online Consumption flag is checked for the inventory part. The same applies if the sales quotations are not converted into customer orders.
A site must have been entered.
A disposition method for the site is defined.
