Define Site Cluster

Explanation

This activity is used to define clusters of sites which can be used to create parts on a mass scale. Creating site clusters, however, is an optional activity and can be performed even before defining assortments. This activity is also used to define levels for each site cluster. Cluster levels are used to decide where a node is placed within the structure of a cluster. When you create a node, it will be assigned a level based on where you created it within the cluster structure. There may be a number of levels within a site cluster.

Prerequisites

Site clusters must be defined before entering cluster levels.

System Effects

As a result of this activity you can proceed to define a site cluster structure consisting of multiple levels.
