Sales Rule Logger
Explanation
Use this activity to analyze the result for the configuration. Save the
logger information to a rtf file for further investigation if needed. Note that
you cannot change anything in this dialog, the displayed information is a result
log from the sales rule evaluation process during configuration.
Four fields display the number of characteristics that have invalid, required
and/or hidden values as well as characteristics with mandatory quantity. The
names of the characteristics will be prompted with tooltip when the cursor is
moved over the fields.
Displayed data that is used in the evaluation is Part number, part configuration
revision, Order information and the values and quantities for each
characteristic.
Sales rule sequence setting on part configuration revision decides in which order the
sales rules are displayed and evaluated.
Possible values for each sales rule are:
- Condition is TRUE for a sales rule: Connected actions are executed and
displayed directly.
- Condition is TRUE for a sales rule connected to a template: Connected
sales rules in the template is executed and displayed next in sequence in
the logger.
- Condition is FALSE for a sales rule: No actions are executed or
displayed for the sales rule in the logger.
- Condition is FALSE for a sales rule connected to a template: No sales
rules within the template will be executed.
Information on the condition line always displays the left condition value
first with the value it is compared to as the second value. If no condition
exists for the sales rule the information will be (Empty condition) which means
the condition is always evaluated as true.
It is possible to use search functionality to find specific sales rules or
