Enter Opportunity Stages

Explanation

This activity is used to view, modify, or enter information about opportunity stages. An opportunity stage specifies the current level of the opportunity. This can be carried out by a user who has access to CRM data.

This activity has no prerequisites.

System Effects

An opportunity stage is created and is available for use on the business opportunity.

Procedure

1. Open the CRM Basic Data window and click the Opportunity Stages tab.
2. Create a new record.
3. Enter the short code for opportunity stage in the Stage ID field.
4. Enter a description of the opportunity stage in the Description field.
5. Save the information.
