Enter Marketing Campaign Header

Explanation

This activity is used to enter a marketing campaign header. The marketing campaign is built in three levels: a header, one or several steps and one or several actions for each step. The campaign ID is automatically defined when saving the header. However, you can manually enter the campaign ID before saving the header.

Prerequisites

• The user should be connected to a representative in the CRM Basic Data window.

System Effects

This activity has the following system effects:

• A marketing campaign header is created. When the marketing campaign header is saved, the campaign ID appears automatically (if not entered manually). The marketing campaign header receives the Not Started status.
• When you enter a marketing campaign header, the representative connected to the current user is retrieved to the Main Representative field and the Representatives tab.

Procedure

1. Open the Marketing Campaign window and create a new record.
2. Enter a description.
3. Select a campaign type.
4. Enter start date.
5. Optionally, enter values in the Campaign ID, End Date and Total Cost fields.
6. Optionally enter a note.
7. The representative connected to your user appears automatically as the main representative.
8. Save your changes.
