Enter Marketing Campaign Actions

Explanation

This activity is used to enter actions for a marketing campaign step.

Prerequisites

• A marketing campaign header must have been entered and saved.
• A step must have been entered and saved.
• Response categories and response category options must have been entered and saved.

System Effects

• As a result of this entry, a campaign action is entered. The campaign action receives the Not Started status.

Procedure

To add actions on the Marketing Campaign/Steps tab:

1. In the marketing campaign header, populate or query for the marketing campaign.
2. Click the Steps tab and select a step.
3. Click the Actions tab, and then click New.
4. Enter a values in Description, Activity Type, the Start Date and End Date fields.  
5. Optionally, enter values in the Action No and Priority fields.
6. The main representative of the campaign appears automatically as the representative.
7. Save your changes.

To add actions on the Marketing Campaign/Actions tab:

1. In the marketing campaign header, populate or query for the marketing campaign.
2. Click on the action in the tree navigator in the left side of the Marketing Campaign window.
3. Click the Actions tab, and then click New.
4. Enter values in Description, Activity Type, the Start Date and End Date fields.  
5. The main representative of the campaign appears automatically as the representative.
6. Optionally, enter values in the Action No and Priority fields.
7. Save your changes.
8. To enter response categories for the action, click in the lower part of the tab and create a new record.
9. Select a response category ID. The description is automatically retrieved.
10. Save your changes.
