Create Business Activity from Business Opportunity

Explanation

This activity is used to create a business activity from the business opportunity when needed. This can be done by right-clicking in the Business Opportunity window header, and then clicking Create Business Activity. The Create Activity from Opportunity dialog box will then be displayed for entering information .

Prerequisites

The business opportunity must have another status than Cancelled.

System Effects

A business activity is created with all available information on the business opportunity header, and the Activity tab will list the newly created activity.

Create Business Activity from Opportunity

Procedure

1. Use the Populate or Query function to display the appropriate business opportunity in the Business Opportunity or Business Opportunities window.
2. Right-click and then click Create Business Activity. The Create Activity from Opportunity dialog box is displayed.
3. Enter necessary information in the fields of the window.
4. If needed, update the main representative ID.
5. Confirm by clicking OK.
