Fulfill Document Requirements

Explanation

Use this activity to insert required documents into a connected object's document survey. In Attachment panel/Document Requirements, you can see the list of part classes that must exist in the document survey before the part can be released. When the required documents are received/developed, they must be inserted into the part's document survey.

Prerequisites

• Document requirements must be defined for the part.
• Documents must exist.

System Effects

• The document(s) are connected to the part.
• The part cannot be released until the required documents exist in that part's document survey and are released.
• The required documents must exist in the part's document survey and be released before the part can be released.

Procedure

1. Click Attachment Panel/Documents , if necessary.
2. Click New to create an empty row.
3. Enter values in the Document Class, Document Number, Document Sheet, and Document Revision fields. Other fields can be entered at this time or at a later time.
4. Click Save to save your document survey.
