Delete Comment File

Explanation

Use this activity to delete a redline (comment) file. IFS Document Management does not create a backup before deleting the redline file. The deletion of a redline file cannot be reversed.

Prerequisites

• The redline file must be checked in.
• You need to have view access to the document revision.

System Effects

The redline file will be deleted from the archive.

Procedure

1. Open the Document Revision window. 
2. Query (F3) for the document revision with the comment file you want to delete.
3. Right-click, click Comments, and then click Delete. A prompt opens.
4. Confirm the deletion of the file by clicking OK.
