Assign Cost Template to Part

Explanation

Use this function to assign a cost template to a part.

Prerequisites

• A cost template containing one or more cost buckets must exist.
• A part created for one or more cost sets, other than cost set 1, must exist.

This activity will assign a cost template to a selected part.

Procedure

In the Part Cost window:

1. Select the part to which you want to assign a cost template, in the Part No list box.
2. Specify the identification of the template you want to assign, in the Template field. You can use the List of Values to select from available cost templates.
3. Click Save.

In the Part Costs window:

1. Select one or more rows, right click and then click Assign New Cost Template. The Assign Cost Template to Part(s) dialog box opens.
2. In the Cost Template field, select a value from the list of values.
3. Click OK.
