Assign Cost Estimator to One Part

Explanation

Use this function to assign a cost estimator to a single part. You cannot assign a cost estimator to a part connected to cost set 1.

Prerequisites

• The part must exist.
• The cost estimator must have been defined.

System Effects

This activity will define which cost estimator is responsible for the selected part.

Procedure

1. Open the Part Cost window.
2. Select the part for which you want to assign a cost estimator, in the Part No list box.
3. Click the Part Cost Details tab.
4. In the Cost Estimator field, click List and select an appropriate cost estimator using the List of Values.
5. Click Save.
