Define rules for Compatible Unit Template Structure

Explanation

This activity is used to create and manage general configuration rules for the template structure. Rules can be defined on the parent of the template structure by adding appropriate rule conditions and actions. These conditions are evaluated during the criteria definition phase. The respective actions, perform to filter out unnecessary definition values based on the set condition. 

Prerequisites

A Compatible unit template structure must exist.

Procedure

Define configuration rules for Template Structure

1. Open the Compatible Unit Template Navigator window. 
2. Select an appropriate compatible unit template in the navigator.
3. Mark the parent compatible unit template.
4. Click right mouse option and select Configuration Rules.
5. Create a new rule on the Configuration Rules - Template Structure window and save.
6. Define appropriate conditions, actions and save.
