Define Operations

Explanation

This activity is used to define the operations required to handle the work assignments within an execution item template. A description of the operation along with craft, planned men and planned hours can be entered for each operation line. It considers defining every alternative operation required by the execution item template.

Procedure

  1. Open the Compatible Unit Template Navigator window.
  2. Search for an existing record.
  3. Select the appropriate execution item template in the navigator.
  4. Click the Operations tab.
  5. Enter a new record and enter a value in the Description field.
  6. Enter information in Craft ID, Planned Men and Planned Hours fields as required. Use the List of Values to select a suitable value.
  7. Save the record.
