Update Estimated Cost/Hours for Execution Item

Explanation

This activity is used to refresh or manually update cost details to operations, material, external requisitions and tools and facilities on an execution item.

Prerequisites

• An execution item with project ID and lines to be altered must exist.
• The execution item should not be in status released.

System Effects

Cost details will be updated on the line.

Procedure

1. Open the Compatible Unit Navigator window.
2. Search for an existing record.
3. Select the appropriate execution item in the navigator.
4. Click the Operations, Materials, Tools and Facilities, Requisition Planning tab as required.
5. Enter a new planning line or choose an existing line.
6. Right click on the line and choose Update Estimate option to refresh the estimates OR
7. Right click on the line and choose the option Estimated Cost/Hours to open up the Estimated Cost/Hours dialog box.
8. Create a new cost record or update the cost/hours for an existing record.
9. Save the information.
