Create Compatible Unit Revision

Explanation

This activity is used to create a new compatible unit with it's first revision. Upon saving the record, revision number of the new compatible unit is always set to 1.

Prerequisites

A company must exists.

A new compatible unit revision will be created.

Procedure

1. Open the Compatible Units window.
2. Create a new record.
3. Enter a value in the Compatible Unit ID field.
4. Optionally, enter a value in Type field to fetch class and plant from the setup created in Compatible Unit Types window.
5. Optionally, enter a value in the Project ID field to connect the compatible unit to a project. It will enable to to see estimates for cost elements on the project.
6. Enter values in the other fields as required.
7. Save the record.
