Activate Compatible Unit Revision

Explanation

This activity is used to activate a compatible unit revision or compatible unit structure, which concludes the design or upgrade phase of an asset structure and thereby primed to be operated.

Prerequisites

• A compatible unit revision or structure must exist in Released status .
• Work orders connected to the execution items, which were used to develop or upgrade the asset must be completed.

System Effects

• The status of the compatible unit will be set to Active status.
• Design object connected to the compatible unit will obtain the design status and operational status, Completed and In Operation respectively.

Procedure

1. Open the Compatible Unit Navigator or Compatible Units window.
2. In the Compatible Unit Navigator or Compatible Units window search for the record which is to be activated.
3. Right click on the selected line/lines or the selected node in the navigator.
4. Choose the option Status and then the status Activate. In the Compatible Unit Navigator window choose the option Status For Structure to change the status of an entire structure of compatible units.
