Use this tab to establish the parameters for asynchronous processing of operations, reporting of completed and scrap quantity messages sent through the IFS server for processing by the CBS server. Asynchronous synchronization means that each such message is buffered in a temporary table. From the table, each message is resubmitted for processing at user-specified time intervals until it is processed. The buffering occurs in the IFS server, not the CBS server.
(These messages are different from other types of messages, which are processed with "timeout" synchronization. This means that, for each such message, if the CBS server is unable to process it after repeated tries because of prior jobs, you receive an exception message telling you that your job could not be processed as well as the ID of the user whose job prevented your job from being processed.)
