Enter Qualifying Events

Explanation

Use this function to enter qualifying events. Qualifying events are referring to personal and company related events that effect the employee's current selection of benefit plan options. Based on the events, employee can request for new or changed benefit plan options. Examples of qualifying events are, e.g., Marriage, Divorce, Child is born, New position, Annual revision etc.

The plan administrator enters and maintains the qualifying events.

System Effects

Qualifying events are displayed in the web page where the employee requests for a new or changed benefit plans. Each request should be connected to a qualifying event.
