Un-Issue to Inventory from Project

Explanation

Perform this activity to return quantity of a part to inventory after it has been issued to the delivery project.

When the flag Std Planned Item is checked, the Unissue To Inventory dialog box will display only the records with standard material on hand. Project inventory will not be displayed.

When the flag Std Planned Item is not checked, the Unissue To Inventory dialog box will display only the records with material on hand on the current delivery project. Project inventory belonging to other projects or standard inventory will not be displayed.

Prerequisites

• The part(s) should have been issued from inventory to the project.

System Effects

• The Quantity Issued for the project item is updated, i.e. decreased.
• If all the issued quantity is returned, then the Issued Date is cleared.
• Items in status Realized are demoted to status Designed.
• After delivery serial information is removed.

Procedure

1. Select the project item to return then select the menu option Unissue to Inventory. The Unissue To Inventory dialog box will appear.
2. In the dialog box, enter the Quantity being returned to the desired location in inventory, then press OK.
