The Wage Code is used to link time information to certain values, e.g., a specific accumulator, an amount of money, and/or to specific control parameters. Basic data for wage codes and work hour schedules is dependent on the wage class. Only amounts of time measured in days and hours are used in the Time & Attendance process. The wage codes handled in the Time & Attendance process are a sub-set of the wage codes in the payroll system.
