Use this tab window to view all the activities of the project that are overrunning their budget. You can use the zoom functionality from the Activity Seq field to open up the Activity window and modify the budgets.
The Cost Committed+Used Exceed Plan field will have a value when the committed and used cost of the project/activity exceeds the planned value, while Hours Committed+Used Exceed Plan will have a value when the committed and used hours exceed the planned hours. The planned cost or hours is either planned or baseline values which is determined by the Earned Value method of the project.
Every night an event message (ACTIVITY_BUDGET_EXCEEDED) will be sent out, with all information regarding every issue for all projects.
Note: The zoom functionality is not enabled in the Activity Exceptions/Planned Values Exceeded window.
