Report In Measurements

Explanation

This activity is used to record the values obtained during the measurement of an object.

Prerequisites

• The work order should exist on the mobile device running IFS Mobile Work Order.
• A test point and a parameter should have been linked to the object in the Serial Object or Functional Object window in IFS/Equipment.
• The object and parameter criteria should be synchronized with the mobile device.

System Effects

• A measurement record is created.
• An object parameter gets updated with the last measured value.

Window

The mobile device on which IFS Mobile Work Order is installed.

Procedure

Setup Meter:

1. On the Measurement Screen, long press and select Setup/Change Meter, from the actions menu on a parameter which does not have a meter connected.
2. In the Set up Date field, enter the date at which the meter is setup.
3. In the Meter ID field, enter the identity of the meter.
4. In the Roll-over Value field, enter the value at which the meter re-sets.
5. In the Note field, enter a suitable description of the meter setup
6. Tap OK.

Change Meter:

1. On the Measurement Screen, long press and select Setup/Change Meter, from the actions menu.
2. In the Set up Date field, enter the date at which the change is done.
3. In the Meter ID field, enter the new identity of the meter.
4. In the Start Value field, enter the value at which the new meter starts.
5. In the Roll-over Value field, enter the new value at which the meter re-sets.
6. In the Note field, enter a suitable description of the meter setup.
7. In the End Value field, enter the last value of the old meter.
8. Tap OK.

Enter Measurements:

1. On the Home Screen, tap Measures. Alternatively, you can record the measurements as part of the work order flow. To do this, tap on the required work order, on preview screen long press and tap Measures Or navigate to the WO Actions screen , and then tap Measures.
2. Tap on the object for which you want to report measurements.
3. Select the parameter and/or test point for which you want to record a measurement. This can be done by tapping on the arrows in the header or by long-pressing the screen and tapping Find Test Point or Find Parameter.
4. In the Value field, enter the measured unit value.
5. In the Date field, enter the date at which the measurement is recorded.
6. Optionally, enter additional information in the Note field.
7. Tap Save.
8. Observe, the entered measurement is displayed under Last Reading section in the same screen.
9. Report in measurements for a different parameter, if needed.

Handle Preliminary Readings:

1. On the measurement screen, long press and select Measurement History.
2. Select the reading in state Preliminary from the history records and long press.
3. Select Mark As Incorrect.
4. In the Note field, enter a description.
5. Tap OK.
6. Go back to Measurement History screen and observe that Preliminary reading is set to Incorrect reading.

Set Meter Roll-Over Value:

1. On the measurement screen, long press and select Set Meter Roll-Over Value.
2. In the Value field, enter new meter roll-over value.
3. Tap OK.
