Create New Work Order for Search Result
Explanation
Use this activity to create a new work order for a
search result line. If you perform a Combined Free Time Search you, can connect the operation
lines to the tool-and-facility lines included in the search result. The
connection can also be made if the work order to which the tool-and-facility is
to be included contains an operation line (applicable for a Simple Free Time
Search).
Prerequisites
- Maintenance organizations should be defined in IFS/Basic Data for Maintenance,
Organization Basic Data.
- Employees should be defined in IFS/Enterprise.
- In order to connect the operations to the tools-and-facilities, a
combined free time search should be performed involving both an employee
and a tool-and-facility, or (if you are performing a simple fee time search)
the work order to which the tool-and-facility is to be added should contain
an operation line.
System Effects
- A new work order will be created. The new work order will include details of the search, such as
the tool-and-facility and employee details on the relevant tabs.
- If you chose to connect an operation to a tool-and-facility, the tool-and-facility line of the work order will contain the
operation number that is connected to it.
