Enter Return Handling Addresses

Explanation

This activity is used to enter the address information of the return material authorization.

Prerequisites

An RMA header must have been entered.

The return-from address and the return-to address are printed in the return material authorization document.

Procedure

  1. Open the Return Material Authorization window.
  2. Query for the required RMA.
  3. On the Return Handling Addresses tab, in the Return From Address area, you can change the retrieved default delivery address of the customer.
  4. Optionally, you can select the Single Occurrence check box and edit the address if material is being returned from an address which is not registered in the Customer/Address tab.
  5. If single occurrence is selected, you can specify a ship via code and the delivery terms.

Note: The ship via code and delivery terms will be used for the Intrastat records for RMA lines which are not connected when the single occurrence address is used.

  1. You can change the retrieve return to address ID. The address should be one defined for the company of the return site or one of the addresses defined for the supplier if the return supplier is an external supplier.
  2. Optionally, you can select the Single Occurrence check box and edit the address if material is being returned to an address which is not registered.
  3. Save.
