Connect Maintenance Code to Sales Part
Explanation
This activity is used to connect maintenance codes to a sales part. If no
part number is given for the maintenance code, the sales part applies to that
maintenance code for all part numbers. If a part number is defined, the sales
part only applies to the maintenance code for that part number.
Prerequisites
- Non-inventory sales parts must be defined.
- Maintenance codes must be defined in the Maintenance Program Basic
Data window.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the sales part is connected to a maintenance
code which will be available when the sales part is connected to a service
quotation line and the quoted work is invoiced.

Procedure
- Open the Non-Inventory Sales Part window and query for the
sales part.
- Click the Connect Services tab and then click the
Maint Code tab.
- Double-click on the table to create a new record.
- Enter a value in the Maint Code field. Use the List of Values to
select a suitable value.
- Optionally, enter a value in the Part Number field. Use the List
of Values to select a suitable value.
- Save the record. (F12)
