Define Vehicle Condition
Explanation
Use this activity to define conditions for vehicles. Vehicle conditions are
used for historical and statistical purposes to monitor the amount of time that
a vehicle has been in or out of operation. The vehicle condition is typically
changed when a maintenance task has been finished. When you enter the possible
vehicle condition codes, you link the conditions to an action for setting the
vehicle condition automatically. The actions are connected to starting and
finishing tasks.
Prerequisites
If you want
the vehicle's condition code to be automatically updated when tasks are
distributed and finished on a serial, you must specifically define this. For
more information, refer the online help file Verify or Adjust
Default Object Properties.
System Effects
- The condition of the vehicle is automatically changed (if this was
defined) between the vehicle condition defined as Set when first task is
started and the vehicle condition defined as Set when last task is finished.
- Vehicles can be historically and statistically monitored.
